CabinFever is a multi-disciplinary performance company that specializes in site-specific work designed for and inspired by the location of each performance. Formed in 2011 in Seattle with the goal of reaching new audiences with contemporary dance and music, the company has distinguished itself by creating original multi-media performance art across the United States. Currently based in Chicago, the company has been led by Founder and Executive Director Elana Jacobs since its inception.

CabinFever’s upcoming album “Respire” is a collection of studio and live recordings documenting the eponymous modern dance performance that occurred at the Museum of Contemporary Art-Chicago (MCA) in April 2017 in collaboration with sound artist Stephan Moore (former music coordinator for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company).

CabinFever’s musical ensemble consists of Evan Anderson, Doug Barber, Patrick Glennon, Lia Kohl, and Gavin Price.
